TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
